Description of Services: Breast screening for early detection of breast cancer in women

Screening includes digital mammography (x-rays of breast tissue) * screening results are sent to both the woman and her doctor

Women who receive normal results are automatically recalled for their next screening appointment * women who receive abnormal results are referred to their doctor for further investigation, or are referred directly for additional tests

Eligibility - Population(s) Served: Women 40-74 years age with no new breast cancer symptoms, no personal history of breast cancer, no prior mastectomy and no screening mammogram within the past 11 months * if transfeminine, must have used feminizing hormones for a least 5 consecutive years
Application: Call for appointment * no referral required for women between 40 and 74 years
