Program: UW WELL-FIT Cancer Exercise Program

Description of Services: Develops individualized exercise programs aimed at improving cardiovascular function, muscular strength and endurance as well as range of motion that may have been lost as a result of cancer treatment

The program provides safe, private, small group, one hour exercise sessions twice a week over the 12 week period * appropriate for everyone regardless of fitness level or diagnosis, tailoring each program to the individual's specific health needs

Eligibility - Population(s) Served: People currently undergoing or recently recovering from chemotherapy, radiation, hormonal therapy treatments, or who recently had surgery as their only form of treatment
Application: Ask your oncologist or oncology nurse for a referral
