Description of Services: Companionship, respite care, and emotional support to people and their family/caregivers dealing with a life-threatening illness * bereavement support for anyone who has experienced the death of a loved one due to a palliative illness * services can be provided at home, hospitals and long-term care homes

Volunteer Visiting - Volunteers make weekly visits to the client's home to provide emotional and psycho-social support

Day Away Program - Program hosted weekly that offers opportunities to engage in discussions and group activities

Complementary Therapies - Massage, reflexology, reiki, therapeutic touch is provided to those dealing with stress and anxiety

Transportation - Volunteer drivers are available to provide transportation to medical appointments and hospice programs * provided for palliative clients

Bereavement Walking Group - A program offered weekly led by volunteers who offer support and encouragement

Counselling Services - Individual and family counselling * caregiver support group * bereavement support group * bereavement education program
